- Social Support
The system also tracks the members’ perceptions of the amount of
social support that they have in their lives, an important quality of life
issue. However, unlike the other domains, this is not a real time outcome,
being measured at arbitrary intervals at the discretion of the program.
The system uses a well-validated instrument, the Level of Social Support
Scale, a 30 item member self-administered scale that taps the member’s
perception of the level of social support in their lives in three domains.
